Ubisoft Bordeaux demonstrated a strong commitment to refining and expanding the core Assassin's Creed Mirage experience based on player feedback. Rather than large, paid expansions, the development team focused on adding highly requested features that boosted replayability and challenge, all at no extra cost to players. This approach was widely praised and kept the community engaged for months after launch.

Key post-launch updates included:

  • New Game+ Mode: Added in a major December 2023 update, this feature was a top request from fans. It allows players who have completed the main story to restart Basim's journey while retaining all their unlocked skills, weapons, and cosmetics. As an added bonus, starting a NG+ run unlocks a special Medjay outfit inspired by Bayek from Assassin's Creed Origins.
  • Permadeath Mode: For the ultimate challenge, Ubisoft introduced the "Full Synchronization Challenge" in a February 2024 update.
