In REANIMAL, masks aren't just cosmetic flair for your protagonists; they are the gatekeepers to a Platinum trophy and a 100% completion run. We’ve broken down the locations for all 18 masks found across the game’s chapters so you can stop hunting and start wearing.

Chapter 1: The Early Nightmares

Birdhead Mask

Midway through the early sections, look for a ladder leading to a walkway. While you'll see a friend through a pipe gate, don't move forward yet. Turn around, head through the door behind you, and squeeze through the wall gap to find this mask in a box.

Guts Mask

After clearing the Boiler Room puzzle in the factory, check the lockers on the right wall. One will have a smoke trail. Enter that locker to find a hidden sink area—the mask is tucked underneath.

Strawhat Mask

Once you’ve used the plunger to fish the key out of the toilet (classic Tarsier), head back to the cart. Ignore the locked door for a second and enter the unlit door directly below. Follow the walkway to a secluded room; the mask is on a box beneath the missile bomb.

Chapter 2: Urban Decay

Pighead Mask

In the shop filled with mannequins, head behind the counter before exiting. There’s a small vent you can crouch through that leads to a backroom. You'll find the mask on a tray below a larger pig head.

Traffic Cone Mask

Once you have the crowbar and escape "Sniffer," look for a boarded-up entrance near the Cinema/Gas Station. You’ll see a critter with a cone on its head scurrying inside. Smash the boards, enter, and squash the critter to claim your prize.

Chapter 3: The Farmstead

Deer Antler Mask

This is the only mask in this chapter. When you reach the farm with the yellow flowers, hug the left side of the field to find a scarecrow. Whack it with your crowbar to spawn a critter; kill it to grab the antlers.

Chapter 4: The Orphanage Slog

Bucket Mask

Inside the clock tower, check the first room for a bookcase. Crouch under it to find a candle-lit secret room. This triggers a spider-like critter to run back into the main room. Track it down and kill it.

Crown Mask (Missable Achievement)

In the Spider Children’s orphanage, you’ll encounter a "King" on a throne. As you fight his minions, watch the King. He will attempt to flee from the back of the throne. You must rush him and hit him with the crowbar before he disappears. Success nets you the mask and the 'Long Live the King' trophy.

Planthead Mask

After the storage room fight, you’ll jump across broken floorboards. Immediately turn back toward the camera to find a squeeze-space. Pull the baggy plant structure from the ground to unlock this mask.

Chapter 6: The High Seas

Madfish Mask

Before solving the 4-node code in the bunker, head outside to the generator. Push the fish-marked box over the ledge. After solving the puzzle, return to your boat on the beach and head far-left to find a critter waiting to be squashed.

Sack Mask

After using the cannon to clear the path to the ship, pilot your boat to the far-right side. Look for an opening guarded by sea mines. Blow them up, land on the small beach, and loot the crate.

Seadiver Helmet Mask

This is a two-for-one deal. After the underwater eye extraction sequence, you’ll return to the whale and swap out of your diving gear. Interact with and wear both helmets to unlock them as permanent masks and progress toward the 'Hidden among Rats' trophy.

Chapter 7: The Trenches

Bush Mask

Before heading into the trenches at the start of the chapter, check the right side for a shutter. Lift it with your partner to find a crawlspace containing the mask case.

Mine Mask

Inside the trenches, you’ll pass three soldiers (two with pistols, one with a rifle). Look right for a wooden crawlspace. It leads to an artillery cache where the Sea Mine mask sits next to a candle.

Rabbit Statue Mask

This is the big one. This mask only appears at the final altar if you have collected every secret Prayer Statue in the game. It’s located near the ramp leading out of the trenches—look for a squeeze-wall on the left.

Toad Mask

Inside the war hospital, you'll need bolt cutters from the surgery room. Near the explosive-rigged cabinet, crouch under the table cabinets to find a hidden room with the mask in a box.

Chapter 8: The Finale

Gas Mask

Our intel confirms the final mask of the set is located within the opening of Chapter 8, serving as the final piece for the 'Beneath the Mask' achievement.
