Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collab – Leaks Point to Lucy & Rebecca
Well, well, well, gamers, it looks like the long-rumored Wuthering Waves x Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover is finally starting to take shape – albeit through the usual channels of leaks for now. Back in 2025, the news that this collab was "on the cards" had us hyped, and now, we're finally getting some actionable intel.
Edgerunners Join the Roster: Lucy & Rebecca Confirmed?
Our intel, courtesy of Seele leaks, points to two heavy-hitters making the jump: Lucyna Kushinada (aka Lucy) and Rebecca. Both are allegedly slated as five-star characters – no surprises there for a high-profile collab – and will be packing pistols, which certainly fits the vibe.
- Lucyna Kushinada (Lucy): Allegedly a 5-star Spectro element user with a pistol.
- Rebecca: Allegedly a 5-star Havoc element user, also wielding a pistol.
A solid elemental pairing, if we do say so ourselves. While this isn't confirmed by Kuro Games yet, the specificity of the leaks certainly gets our attention.
Release Window & Banner Strategy
The word on the street is we can expect Lucy and Rebecca in the first half of the 3.4 patch. This timing is key, as it's supposedly after Sigrika's release, giving us a crucial window to save those Astrite stashes – a move we appreciate after some recent character squeezes.
We believe this release structure might mirror Honkai Star Rail's Fate Grand Order collab, where Saber and Archer enjoyed longer banner durations but with fixed debut times. A smart play if it means more opportunities to snag these limited-time units.
The David Question & Wuthering Waves' Character Trend
Now, for the burning question that's got us scratching our heads: Where's David? Seriously, his voice actor is none other than Genshin Impact's Aether, which makes his apparent absence even more perplexing given his central role in Edgerunners. There's currently no official artwork, so we can't judge how closely they'll resemble their animated counterparts, but the lack of David is a curious choice.
Then again, Wuthering Waves has shown a clear affinity for its female roster. Since 3.0, we've seen Aemeath, Mornye, and Lynae, with Sigrika on the horizon, and reportedly two more female characters between now and 3.4. Luuk Herrssen remains the sole male, and these leaks make no mention of four-star options. It's a pattern we've noted, and it continues here.
For now, we'll keep our comms open for official word from Kuro Games on when these new faces will come to 'Wuthering Waifus Waves.'
