Grand Theft Auto 6: Every Confirmed Weapon So Far

Weapons are the backbone of any Grand Theft Auto experience, and Grand Theft Auto 6 is shaping up to deliver a substantial arsenal for players. While the game hasn't hit shelves yet, we have gathered a solid list of confirmed hardware based on official trailers, promotional screenshots, and details regarding the Ultimate Edition.
Confirmed Handguns and Pistols
The protagonists have their own preferred sidearms. Jason is frequently seen carrying the Girardi ES9, a weapon heavily inspired by the Beretta 92FS. Meanwhile, Lucia’s preferred handgun is the Klose K-17, which shares a visual resemblance to the Bersa Thunder 380.
Other handguns identified in pre-release material include:
- Capo Pistol: A firearm appearing in trailers and screenshots that bears a resemblance to a Colt M911, with the word 'Capo' engraved on the slide.
- Polymer Pistol: Seen on a desk in promotional screenshots, this weapon features gold customization, though standard versions may be available in the base game.
- Mustang .357: A revolver appearing in a screenshot, held by a character in a biker scene with the name engraved on the side.
Rifles and Long Guns
Rockstar is leaning into a variety of long-range options for the Florida-inspired map. Based on current imagery, players can expect the following:
- Carbine Rifle: This staple returns, though it appears there may be two variants. One version seen in a trailer resembles the GTA 5 model, while a screenshot features a version closer to the design found in GTA 4.
- Bolt-Action Rifle: Clearly visible in screenshots showing hunters in the woods, these rifles come equipped with large scopes.
- Assault Sniper Rifle: Spotted in a screenshot resting against a character’s leg.
- Springfield M1A: Held by a mud-covered hunter in an official screenshot alongside the sniper rifle.
- Double-Barreled Shotgun: A long-barreled version of this classic weapon was spotted in a screenshot depicting a character encountering an alligator.
SMGs and Heavy Weaponry
For high-intensity combat, the trailers have confirmed several rapid-fire options:
- MP5: Both Jason and Lucia have been shown wielding this submachine gun during heist sequences.
- LMG: Featured in a commercial for a gun store in the second trailer, this weapon bears a strong resemblance to the Combat MG from GTA 5.
- Grenade Launcher: A quick shot in one of the trailers shows Lucia using this to disable a vehicle during a chase.
- Micro SMG and SMG: Both weapons have been used in promotional material to showcase the tropical skin pack included in the Vintage Vice City pack, though they are expected to be available as standard weapons in the main game.
Ultimate Edition Exclusives
If you are looking for flair, the Ultimate Edition is set to include the Hawk and Little Morgan revolvers. These are described as powerful, his-and-hers weapons that feature specialized Vice City-themed designs.
Note: While various objects like baseball bats, hammers, pool cues, and mini golf clubs appear in the trailers, it is currently unconfirmed if these will function as equipable weapons or remain environmental set dressing.
