Forza Horizon 6 Update 375.327: Drag Tire Physics and XP Changes

A fresh update has arrived for Forza Horizon 6 on PC, bringing the Steam version to 375.327. This patch focuses on balancing core gameplay mechanics, specifically targeting how specialized tires interact with the road and streamlining progression for Horizon Play.

⚡ Quick Facts
  • Version Number: 375.327 (Steam)
  • Major Change: Drag Tire physics adjusted to reduce lateral grip
  • Horizon Play: XP requirements lowered; progress now carries over for max level
  • Playlist Fixes: Missing Series 1 Daily Challenge points are now available

Drag Tire Physics Overhaul

The most significant change in this update involves the physics of Drag Tires. The development team noted that these tires were providing too much lateral grip, making them an unintended "meta" choice for event types outside of drag racing. By reducing this cornering performance, the team aims to ensure Drag Tires are used only for their specific purpose.

While the Performance Index (PI) cost remains the same—meaning your current tunes won't change their PI rating—the actual handling in corners will feel significantly different. Because this shift impacts competitive integrity, the team has announced an ongoing process to remove leaderboard entries that were set using Drag Tires prior to this patch. Drag racing leaderboards, however, remain unaffected by this change.

Horizon Play and Playlist Updates

Progression in Horizon Play has been adjusted to make reaching the "Maxed Out" achievement less of a grind. By reducing the XP required between Level 26 and 100, players should see a faster path to the end-game. For those who have already put in significant time, the game will now retroactively boost your level; players who reached Level 32 will automatically jump to Level 100 and unlock associated badges.

The Festival Playlist also received several fixes. If you were missing Daily Challenge points from Series 1, you can now claim them retroactively by navigating to the Series 1 tab in your Playlist History. Other fixes include correcting issues where some challenges were completing too early or failing to unlock entirely for certain players.

Bug Fixes and Visual Improvements

The update also tackles a range of technical and visual issues across the game:

  • Road Discovery: A "Roads Driven" percentage has been added to the Region Overview, and stubborn road nodes that wouldn't mark as discovered have been fixed.
  • Visuals: Motion blur artifacts on the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR TM Edition have been removed, and rain particles are now correctly enabled on the 'High' graphics preset for PC players.
  • Audio: Performance on lower-spec hardware has been improved, and the volume for the air vents on the 2010 Lamborghini Murciélago LP 670-4 SV has been adjusted.
  • General Stability: Players should see improved performance overall, and a bug that caused long load times after using Benchmark Mode has been resolved.

For players still encountering issues with save data loss, the developers continue to direct users to the official Forza Support article for troubleshooting and data protection advice.
