NTE: Neverness to Everness Adds Full Fantasy RPG Mode on July 8

Fans of the PS5 open-world title NTE: Neverness to Everness have a massive update to look forward to on July 8. While the game already features a variety of activities like shop management and racing, the latest patch is set to introduce a completely standalone experience: an entire fantasy RPG named ‘999 Nights’.

Despite the awkward naming convention—which is pronounced “One Thousand Less One Nights” rather than “Nine Nine Nine Nights”—this addition is a full-scale fantasy RPG. It includes multiple character classes modeled after the main game’s roster, unlockable gear sets, and a world that expands the more you progress. Players who complete the campaign multiple times will unlock additional quests, which are designed to deepen the game's lore.

More Than Just a Mini-Game

One of the most appealing aspects of this new mode is that it serves as a way to enhance your experience in the core game. By gathering tokens within 999 Nights, you can bring specific gear sets back into the main open-world environment. While these items will have fewer customization options once moved outside of the fantasy RPG mode, they provide a tangible reward for engaging with the new content.

Importantly, 999 Nights is a permanent feature. Unlike some content seen in other gacha titles that disappears after a set timeframe, this mode will remain available for players to enjoy at their own pace.
