FIFA Heroes Launches Globally: iShowSpeed and Central Cee Join the Pitch

FIFA has officially entered the arcade football space with the global launch of FIFA Heroes. Developed by Solace in partnership with FIFA, the title is a non-simulation, five-a-side game designed to capture the rapid, highlight-driven nature of modern football culture. It is available to play now on iOS and Android devices, with PC and console versions slated for a later release.

Moving away from the traditional 90-minute match structure, FIFA Heroes focuses on two-minute, high-intensity PvP matches. The gameplay emphasizes timing, positioning, and team composition, using an ability-driven system that rewards players for creating shareable, high-impact moments. It is a clear pivot toward a generation that consumes football through social media feeds, edits, and creator-led content rather than full-length broadcasts.

A Roster of Footballers and Creators

The launch roster reflects the game’s blend of professional sport and digital entertainment. Players can unlock and build squads featuring both established football stars and internet icons. Enzo Fernández and João Pedro lead the professional line-up, but the inclusion of creators like iShowSpeed and Luva de Pedreiro signals a new direction for the brand.

iShowSpeed is a fully playable character in the game, complete with his own distinct abilities that can be deployed alongside professional footballers and FIFA World Cup mascots. This integration extends to the music as well; West London rapper Central Cee appears as a playable character, and the game features an exclusive, unreleased soundtrack from him, along with contributions from Raiser and Karri.

Mobile-First Strategy

The game is leaning heavily into mobile accessibility at launch. As part of an official partnership with Motorola, FIFA Heroes will come pre-installed on select new Motorola smartphones. This strategy aims to place the game directly into the hands of users from the moment they unbox their devices.

"Football has never been confined to 90 minutes," said Andy Tudor, game director for FIFA Heroes. "The sport has never been bigger, and the way people experience it has expanded even further. It now lives not only on the pitch, but across highlights, social feeds, creators, and everyday culture. We’ve built a game for that."

By blending traditional elements like ranked progression with the influence of modern gaming and music culture, Solace and FIFA are positioning the title as a digital extension of matchday emotion. Whether you are building a squad around professional talent or crossover entertainment figures, the core loop is designed to consistently generate the kind of replayable, high-energy clips that define today’s online football communities.
