Once Human Devs Address Player Feedback on Building and Client Size

Following the v2.3.7 update, the Once Human development team has released the results of its fourth Meta Hotline, outlining how community feedback is directly shaping future game updates. The team is utilizing the Feedback Hot Charts on their official platform to track player sentiment, allowing the community to vote on suggestions via likes and dislikes.
Building and Recipe Quality of Life Improvements
One of the most requested features, multi-select movement for territory construction, is now a high priority. Players have long found that adjusting individual furniture or structural pieces one by one is inefficient. The team confirmed they have significantly increased the development priority for this feature, with an expected release slated for later this year.
Additionally, the developers have officially adopted the suggestion to include a "Learned" indicator for recipes. This change aims to remove the frustration of repeatedly opening menus to check which recipes have already been unlocked.
Management of Chat and World Notifications
Players looking to manage their social experience can already take advantage of existing chat settings. By navigating to Settings > Chat Settings, you can toggle independent display switches for various channels, allowing for better control over team and regional communication.
However, not all requests were granted. While some players asked for the ability to disable world notifications to avoid distractions during exploration or combat, the team stated this feature will not be added for now. The developers noted that the suggestion received a significant number of "Dislikes," indicating that many players still value these updates. The team will monitor the situation and may adjust the frequency of these prompts if they continue to disrupt gameplay.
Technical Updates and Ordering Terminals
The team also addressed the "reclaim usage rights" issue for Ordering Terminals. Players frequently encountered problems when terminals remained occupied due to errors or unresponsiveness. This has been approved for optimization and will be bundled with upcoming Chef-related gameplay improvements.
Finally, regarding the growing size of the game client, the developers are actively working on a reduction plan. While they noted that simply splitting resource packs by scenario is a complex task involving cross-scenario compatibility and maintenance, they are currently advancing a new strategy to significantly lower storage requirements on PC.
The Once Human Feedback Platform remains open, and the team encourages players to continue voting on the Feedback Hot Charts to influence the next cycle of development.
