IdleOn Update: Cavern 18 and 6-Star Cardifiers Arrive

A fresh update has hit IdleOn, bringing a host of new content to the game's caverns and quality-of-life improvements for players across PC and mobile. The headline addition is Cavern 18, officially titled the Crystal Glunko Cove.

In Cavern 18, players can collect gooey shapes ranging from Triangles to Nonagons. These collectibles contribute to 12 new items for the Slab and are used to upgrade Cove Stats. While in this new area, players gain unique bonuses to Drop Rate, AFK Gains, and Multikill value.
Meanwhile, Cavern 16—The Fountain—has received a significant expansion. Players can now utilize Green Water, which unlocks 20 new upgrades providing bonuses that extend across the entire game. The update also adds three new Fountain currencies, a rubber ducky, and seven new schematics to be built via the Engineer villager, Kaipu.
Cardifiers and UI Improvements
The developer has introduced 6-star Cardifiers, items used in the Codex to upgrade any 5-star card to 6-star status. To celebrate the launch, all active players are receiving two free 6-star Cardifiers. Moving forward, these items will appear in the Limited Gemshop section during special events.
The user interface has also seen several adjustments to make progression clearer:
- Front-line tracking: The kill requirement for the next map is now permanently displayed in the top-left corner, providing a clearer sense of progression.
- Number notation: Large number displays have been standardized with decimal places (e.g., 4.2T / 52.0T) for better readability.
- Codex accuracy: Kill counts for Gloomie Mushroom, Ancient Golem, and the new Crystal Glunko cavern monsters are now correctly displayed by their respective cards.
Additionally, a display bug affecting Dungeon Rank 60+ has been resolved. While the rank previously appeared as Rank 1, no actual progress or gains were lost during that time.
Community Rewards
The developer is continuing the tradition of awarding gems to the community. Ten winners from the previous patch notes have been selected to receive 5,000 gems each. For this update, players can comment their first IdleOn character name on the official patch notes page to enter a new giveaway. Participants must specify whether they want to win 5,000 gems by commenting "Gems" or 1,500 pet crystals by commenting "Crystals."
