The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales Hits Nintendo Switch 2

Nintendo's latest eShop update has arrived, and it brings a new single-player action-RPG to the Nintendo Switch 2: The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. Developed by the team behind the OCTOPATH TRAVELER series, this new title is available to download on the system starting today.

In The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, players embark on a journey across four distinct ages. The story follows Elliot and his fairy companion, Faie, as they attempt to lift a kingdom-wide curse. The gameplay centers on action-based combat, allowing players to utilize seven different weapon types. Beyond basic attacks, players can experiment with a customizable Magicite upgrade system and utilize Faie's unique "Fairy Actions" to overcome challenges.

New Additions to the Nintendo Switch 2 Library

Alongside the release of Elliot, the eShop has been updated with several other titles. Bloober Team’s Observer: System Redux is now available, putting players in the role of a corporate investigator capable of hacking into the minds of suspects to extract information. For those interested in upcoming releases, The Drifter – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is scheduled to arrive on June 22, while Wanderstop and The Necromancer’s Tale follow on June 23 and June 24, respectively.

Action fans also have a high-profile pre-order to consider: the Devil May Cry 5 Devil Hunter Edition. Launching on June 23, this version of the series entry includes Dante’s rival Vergil as a playable character and targets 60 fps performance in both handheld and TV modes.

Father's Day Promotions and Game Trials

Nintendo is currently running a "For Fathers of Every Feather" digital spotlight, highlighting games like Donkey Kong Bananza, the Super Mario Galaxy collection, and Super Mario Party Jamboree Nintendo Switch 2 Edition. These titles are being promoted as part of Father's Day celebrations.

Additionally, Nintendo Switch Online members can access a game trial for EA SPORTS FC 26. The trial runs from now until June 24 at 11:59 p.m. PT, allowing members to play the full game at no extra cost. Any progress made during this period will carry over if players choose to purchase the full version, which is currently discounted by 80% until July 1.

For those looking to extend their subscription, Nintendo is offering a free bonus month of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack for anyone who purchases or redeems a 12-month individual or family membership before July 28.
