Mistfall Hunter Demo: A Complete Class Tier List

With the Mistfall Hunter demo now available ahead of its full launch in July, players have six distinct classes to test out. Each offers a unique playstyle, but if you're looking to get a competitive edge, some options perform significantly better in the current meta than others.

We have broken down the classes into three tiers to help you decide which one fits your playstyle best.

S-Tier: The Meta Leaders

These are the strongest classes currently available in the demo. They provide the most reliable performance across various types of content.

  • Sorcerer: This is arguably the strongest class in the demo. While it holds its own in PvP, it truly shines in PvE. It excels at dealing significant single-target damage while also utilizing AoE abilities to clear swarms of enemies efficiently.
  • Mercenary: If you prefer a straightforward approach, the Mercenary is the easiest class to master. Whether you choose to wield a sword and shield or switch to a hammer, the class is highly effective for clearing PvE content, even if its PvP performance is considered average.

A-Tier: Viable Alternatives

These classes are strong contenders and serve as effective alternatives to the top-tier options.

  • Blackarrow: Ideal for players who prefer ranged combat. This class offers solid damage output and the ability to apply debuffs to enemies. While its low health pool is a drawback compared to other DPS options like the Sorcerer, it remains a reliable choice for clearing content.
  • Shadowstrix: A high-skill class that can reach S-tier status once mastered. It requires a heavy reliance on stealth and avoiding direct confrontation. In the right hands, it is one of the better choices for PvP.
  • Withered Knight: This is the go-to for players who enjoy a classic hack-and-slash playstyle. Equipped with a massive sword, the Withered Knight can devastate groups of enemies, provided you keep your momentum up. If you stop moving, however, you become easy prey.

B-Tier: Niche Options

Classes in this tier generally struggle in the current meta and may require specific conditions to be effective.

  • Seer: Currently the only dedicated healer in the game. It is not recommended for solo play, as you will likely struggle to progress. If you want to use the Seer effectively, you should only play it as part of a well-coordinated team.
